Princeton Mill Pool
Swimming is the most popular Princeton Mill amenity during the summer months. From roughly Memorial Day through Labor Day, a certified lifeguard is on staff daily to oversee the pool and clubhouse.
During the month of June, the Princeton Mill Sharks are in the pool! The swim team welcomes resident swimmers of all levels, ages 6-18, and typically competes against local neighborhoods.
Our pavilion, which residents can reserve for private parties (during normal operating conditions), features a full kitchen, large gas grill, tables and seating.
The clubhouse area also has a small playground for our smallest residents' enjoyment.
We are excited to announce that the sparkling water of the Princeton Mill Pool is scheduled to open Wednesday, May 20th sporting brand new plaster and waterline tiles.
A few important things to note:
We will continue to use a reservations system with more pool time slots available this summer than last.
Pool reservations will be broken up into one-hour time slots available each day.
New time slots will be posted on Sunday afternoons around 4:00pm for the following week.
Please sign up for no more than 3 time slots per day.
Access to the pool is for Princeton Mill and Weddington Residents only - no outside guests except caregivers who are already regularly caring for inhabitants of Princeton Mill and Weddington Residents.
Lifeguards will sanitize the tables and bathrooms at the beginning and end of the day. There will be spray sanitizer available to use if you want to use on your table and chairs before sitting down.
Please show respect to your neighbors by not taking up multiple open zones, cleaning up your zone before leaving and trying to leave in a timely fashion.
We have pool furniture set up in 15 zones around the pool deck. Do NOT move chairs, tables, or other furniture from one zone to another. We have set up the pool deck in zones to help remind everyone that you should maintain social distance from people who are not in your household.
All non-potty trained children will need to wear rubber pants over their swim diaper. According to the Health Department rules, if an accident occurs and the child is wearing rubber pants, then we will not have to close the pool for 24 hours. Otherwise, the pool may have to be closed for a minimum of 24 hours.
Please be aware that all swimmers and sunbathers should maintain social distancing around and in the pool area.
Please be courteous of your fellow neighbors in the water and allow proper space of ingress and egress.
We appreciate your patience as we continue to navigate the current environment. If you have questions you can email them to: Ed Donaldson: firstname.lastname@example.org
